Happy infant, early blest. Rest in peaceful slumber, rest.

One of my hobbies before I went to law school was to do research on my family history. I would go out to the graveyards where my distant kin were buried to document when they were born and when they died. When I am there, I take time to wander around the graveyard to look at the other headstones that are there. This one caught my attention because it was for an infant. While there is no name on the headstone, the parents / family of this newborn thought so much of their faithfully departed child to leave them a beautiful and pithy epitaph.
